For the past 28 years, Walt has shared his life's journey with the love of his life, Christene, a testament to their unbreakable bond and deep commitment to one another. Their enduring love story is a source of inspiration and strength.

Walt's professional path led him to become a US Army Infantryman, a role that demanded courage and sacrifice. With multiple combat tours, including deployments in Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan, Walt's service to his country is marked by bravery and resilience. He stood on the front lines, defending the values and freedoms we hold dear, earning the admiration and respect of those who served alongside him.

Beyond his military service, Walt is a devoted father to two remarkable children, Hannah and Noah. His children, often referred to as the "blue" and "pink" ones, embody the diversity and beauty of life. Hannah brings tranquility and wisdom, while Noah infuses the world with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Walt's role as a father has been marked by love, guidance, and a commitment to nurturing the unique qualities of each of his children.

Having settled in the picturesque city of Colorado Springs after separating from the Army at Ft. Carson, Walt has found a new calling in the world of real estate. He is passionate about helping his clients navigate the intricate journey of buying, selling, or renting their homes. Walt's genuine concern for his clients' well-being, coupled with his unwavering commitment to assisting them at every stage of their real estate endeavors, makes him a trusted and dependable partner in the pursuit of finding the perfect home.

Their second duty station was Ft Carson. Walt’s active military journey ended in 2014, which is when The Lau Hee Group was formed. Christene learned a lot about the military family lifestyle, giving her an appropriate amount of experience to draw from when working with military families moving to or from the Colorado Springs area. Christene got the bug for real estate when her husband obtained his Real Estate License and started The Lau Hee Group! Christene loves the fact that she has a “relational team vs. a transactional team,” meaning that her focus is not on pushing transactions through, but more importantly, focuses on developing relationships and getting to know her clients’ needs and desires and putting those ahead of her own.

Collaborating with a team, whose work ethic is focused on quality, integrity, and a set of strong moral principles; it is of no surprise that much of The Lau Hee’s business comes from referrals!! Christene looks forward to fostering future client relationships as part of The Lau Hee Group culture!!
